Number Of Qualifiers
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to manage the number of qualifying selections per race in the horse racing software. This is crucial for refining your strategy, particularly when multiple horses meet your criteria within a single race.
Key Points:
- 🎯 Maximum and Minimum Qualifiers:
- Maximum Qualifiers: Set the maximum number of horses that can qualify for a trade in any given race. For example, if you only want to trade when a maximum of one horse qualifies, enter “1” in the Max field.
- Minimum Qualifiers: Useful for laying strategies, where you might want to set a minimum number of qualifiers to increase the chance of success.
- 🚫 Ignoring Races:
If the number of qualifiers in a race falls outside the range you’ve set, that race will be completely ignored. No trades will be placed on that market, ensuring that your strategy only operates under your preferred conditions. - 🔀 Selections and Prices Switch:
- Selections Only: This setting applies the qualifier restriction solely during the horse selection stage. If more than your set maximum qualifiers meet the selection criteria, none will be considered for trading, regardless of their market conditions.
- Selections and Prices: This option considers both the selection stage and the market conditions, such as price. If one of the qualifying horses drifts out of the desired price range, the remaining horse can still be traded, as the number of qualifiers is now within your specified limit.
This feature allows you to control how many horses you consider trading in each race, helping to fine-tune your strategy for better results.
